Think Spectacular

Earlier this year I had a chance to visit Hong Kong for the first time, thanks to a friend (Chichi) who was being so kind to tag me along in her trip. In that memorable trip I also had a chance to visit my mom and dad who were staying a while in Hong Kong for medical purpose (but that’s another story to tell).

So, in March, I have had experienced Hong Kong during its colder weather. Since I’ve never had experienced winter yet, the cold breezing wind that time shivered me enough. Nevertheless, that was a fun experience and worth to enjoy!

We got to see the famous Hong Kong Disneyland, and we did explore one of its night markets, known as Ladies Market just about its closing time. Unfortunately, since it was a quite short visit, I didn’t get to see the rest of Hong Kong must-visit-places.

When I heard this Hong Kong Summer Spectacular program, I told myself, yeah I really would like to try my luck to get another visit to Hong Kong, and I do believe it’s gonna be a spectacular experience in summer!

Among those I wanna visit, it’s listed in this website from HK Tourism Board. A very helpful site, which also classified the events based on the season, and also special tab for cultural celebrations. I bet it will look very merry during Chinese New Year, as the picture shown there. During summer, what’s worth to note for me includes dragon boat carnival and HK Avenue of Comic Stars!!

Hong Kong Dragon Boat Carnival, must see it yourself xD

Also from my parents story and also Chichi’s blog, I really would love to visit that Madame Tussauds museum, see that great musical light show using the wonder of HK skyscrapers, explore Ocean Park, see the Big Buddha in Lantan island.. and of course, go to the The Peak, see the great view from there and participate in this Summer’s special program, “Post Love to the Future”.. They will let you to send a postcard and guarantee that the receiver will get it on your ‘reserved date’. I already start to make a list of my friends to send the postcards to using this service. Haha!

Perhaps you want to see glimpses of this wonderful tourist attractions? Check out Hong Kong Summer Show Reel over here, you’ll see a dozen pictures of that cool places in Hong Kong, which will definitely tempt you more of Hong Kong.

Hong Kong Skyline at Night, this too tempt me so much. I want to see it with my very own eyes. ^^

I do sense that my wishlist above is a bit too much for a three days trip. Might as well to do some eliminations and priority list. But oh, I’ve been hoping since the first time I visited Hong Kong, that I would come back for Hong Kong in the future, when time and condition allows. Hopefully this summer I can start with going there and cover the Visa Hong Kong Super Shopper, this end of month! You know what, I don’t consider myself a big shopper, but with Hong Kong shopping temptations.. who would know what would happen there, haha!

Have you ever wanting to go to Hong Kong too? *grin*
